Limestone Hill

Michael Brown is a painter and print-maker, working from his studio in County Fermanagh. His inspiration comes primarily from the Fermanagh landscape; the blanket bogs of Cuilcagh Mountain, the hills and farmlands, and the wetlands of Lough Erne. His works explore the colours and forms of the landscape from the rich colours of the rolling hills, to the darker moods and colours of more desolate locations.

Michael studied at art college in Bristol, England, and has exhibited his work in Belfast, Dublin and across the West of Ireland. Since 1995, he has been based in County Fermanagh working from his rural studio, where he also runs print-making, painting and drawing workshops.
